Note: "Baccalaureate is intended to touch upon the moral and
spiritual roots of the educational process and encourage
commitment to a more just world. The ceremony includes a
speaker, several moments of silence in observance of our
Quaker tradition, and an inspirational reading."
04:00 Reception at Parrish Lawn
05:30 Catholic Mass (either at the school or nearby Church)
06:45 Dinner at Iron Hill Brewery - Media, PA
SUNDAY, MAY 27
08:00 - 09:30 Senior B'fast
08:15 - 09:30 Rose Selection
(Arboretum staff assist seniors in selecting roses
to wear on their gowns.)
08:30 Scott Outdoor Amphitheater and LPAC open (Seats fill quickly!)
10:00 Commencement Exercises at Scott Outdoor Amphitheater
(Rain or shine. "In the spirit of mutuality, caring, and fairness,
we ask that you hold no more than four seats,
including your own.")
Note: "Commencement is a solemn pageant that honors not just the graduating class but the work of the entire community - students, faculty, and staff - all of whose efforts culminate in this important moment of passage."
